Pass Prometric on the first try: method and resources

The format by authority

Prometric is the operator running licensing exams for several Gulf authorities. The typical format: a timed multiple-choice exam on computer, in English, at an approved centre (available in France and the Maghreb) or online proctored in some cases. Content and pass marks vary by authority (DHA, SCFHS, NHRA, MOH…) and by profession — we confirm the exact syllabus for your situation before you register.

The 6-week revision plan

• Weeks 1–2: review your profession's theoretical core, in English — the challenge is medical English vocabulary as much as content
• Weeks 3–4: question banks in real conditions, 50 questions per session, analyse every mistake
• Week 5: full timed mock exams
• Week 6: targeted review of weak topics only, rest the day before

Exam-day pitfalls

Manage the clock (never stay stuck on one question), read every stem to the end — distractors turn on a single word — and beware of "obvious" answers: the correct one follows the authority's guidelines, not necessarily your current ward's practice.
