DataFlow explained simply: verify your credentials without stress

6 min readUpdated July 2026By Optima Prime Consultancies

DataFlow is the mandatory gateway to any Gulf career — and the number one source of candidate anxiety. Let's demystify it in five minutes.

What is it, exactly?

DataFlow is the organisation mandated by Gulf health authorities to verify your documents at the source: it contacts your university, your professional board and your previous employers directly to confirm your diplomas and certificates are genuine. The resulting Primary Source Verification report is then required by the DHA, SCFHS, MOPH and other authorities.

The documents to prepare

  • State diploma (and specialisations where relevant)
  • Work certificates from your significant employers
  • Professional registration (nurses, physicians, midwives)
  • Passport and ID photo
  • Sworn English translations for French documents

The real timelines

Expect 4 to 8 weeks for a well-prepared file. What slows it down: a university that answers slowly (their pace, not yours), a defunct or renamed employer, an illegible scan. What speeds it up: perfect scans on first submission and up-to-date contact details for every organisation.

The classic mistake: launching DataFlow alone with a wrong university address or a job title that doesn't match the certificate. Result: rejection, new fees, six weeks lost. This is exactly the file we build and track for our candidates — free of charge.

We handle your DataFlow end to end.

Send your CV and diplomas: we check your file and launch the procedure correctly the first time.
